The Foleck Center founder Dr. Adam Foleck has contributed a chapter to the 2023 textbook "Modern Implant Dentistry" published by Quintessence Publishing, establishing the practice as a regional authority in implant dentistry as national demand for dental implants reaches unprecedented levels.
Dr. Foleck authored the chapter "Implants in the Esthetic Zone" for the comprehensive textbook, which serves as a reference for dental professionals nationwide. The publication comes as the U.S. dental implant market reached $1.52 billion in 2024, growing at an annual rate of 11.4 percent, with projections indicating the market will reach $3.69 billion by 2032. The Foleck Center dental implants program operates across six locations throughout Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Hampton, Newport News, and Williamsburg.

The textbook contribution reflects Dr. Foleck's extensive involvement in implant dentistry education and practice. Since 2007, he has served as an international lecturer on dental implants and achieved Fellow status with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry in 2012. He holds Diplomate status with the American Board of Oral Implantology and specializes in implant placement and restoration, bone and gingival grafting, and full mouth rehabilitation.
"Contributing to Modern Implant Dentistry allows me to share clinical insights with dental professionals nationwide as our field addresses growing patient demand," said Dr. Adam Foleck, DMD, founder of The Foleck Center. "The textbook provides evidence-based approaches to implant placement and restoration that reflect current best practices in the field."
Nearly 3 million Americans now have dental implants, addressing a significant need as over 150 million Americans currently experience missing teeth. The aging American population drives much of the increased demand for dental implant procedures. Currently, 12.9 percent of all dental implant procedures are performed on patients aged 65-74, and the U.S. population aged 65 and older is projected to reach 82 million by 2050.
Clinical data demonstrates that success rates for dental implants now reach 95-98 percent, with long-term implant survival extending beyond 25 years with proper care. Titanium implants comprise 93 percent of all procedures, reflecting the material's established track record for biocompatibility and durability.
As a Virginia Beach implant dentist practice, The Foleck Center operates an on-site dental laboratory with a Certified Dental Technician for custom restorations. The practice utilizes Pearl AI diagnostics, 3D imaging, computer-aided design, and laser dentistry technologies in its implant procedures.
The Foleck Center provides dental services including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, family dentistry, orthodontics, sedation dentistry, and emergency dental care. Dr. Foleck graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1997 and completed Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. The practice maintains six locations throughout the Hampton Roads region, serving patients across Tidewater communities.
