Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. sets membership pricing centrally for the Thailand Privilege program, formerly known as Thailand Elite. Applicants pay the same fee regardless of whether they apply directly, through another agent, or through an authorized GSSA. The distinction between channels lies in the level of guidance and legal support available throughout the process rather than in cost.
The core application itself requires comparatively limited documentation. Applicants submit a copy of their passport bio-data pages, a digital photograph, and a completed application form, without the bank statements, medical certificates, or income proof required for Thailand's retirement visa or the Long-Term Resident visa. The passport must carry at least one full year of remaining validity and enough blank pages for the Privilege Entry visa sticker, requirements that Siam Legal said are among the most common causes of delay when applicants submit on their own.
Additional documentation applies in specific circumstances. Applicants already residing in Thailand must include their current immigration status and TM30 residence notification, while family members applying as supplementary members must provide proof of relationship such as marriage or birth certificates. Siam Legal International said its case handlers review each file against these requirements before submission to reduce the likelihood of a rejected or delayed application, and that immigration officers may separately request proof of funds when the visa is affixed on arrival even though no financial disclosure is required for the paper application itself.
Siam Legal International operates as a licensed Thai law firm rather than solely a visa services agency, a distinction the firm said extends its role beyond the initial membership application. Foreign nationals who later require assistance with family visa matters, property transactions, or tax obligations can be connected with the relevant practice group within the firm as those needs arise.

"The paperwork itself is short, but the details matter more than most applicants expect," said Rex Baay, Senior Immigration Consultant and Operations Manager at Siam Legal International. "A blank passport page short of the requirement or a missing TM30 for someone already in Thailand can add weeks to the process. Siam Legal's case handlers catch those issues before the file reaches Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd., which is a large part of what the membership fee does not otherwise cover."
The Thailand Privilege program, operated by Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. under the supervision of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, offers long-term residency options ranging from five to twenty years across several membership tiers, including Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Reserve. The program has grown to more than 40,000 members since its 2003 launch, drawing applicants from over 50 nationalities.
